We Care Donates Barb’s Bags-chemo Care Bags to Local Oncologist

This week We Care Manatee will donate Barb’s Bags (breast cancer chemotherapy care bags) to 2 local medical oncologist for distribution to those in need.

Each bag includes a blanket, pillow, socks, adult coloring book with pencils, hand cream, lip balm, potpourri bags with lavender, ginger chews, a journal, pen, picture frame, and an ID Tag.

Recipients & local angels of mercy in the fight against breast cancer are:

• Dr. Yallappa Nadaminiti, MD- Florida Cancer Specialist

• Dr. Manjesh Lingamurthy- Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee

Thank you to each of the 80+ volunteer physicians, hospitals, and ancillary care facilities partnering with We Care to improve the health of our community.

We Care Manatee is a nonprofit facilitating free breast health & wellness services to low-income, uninsured residents of Manatee County, FL. Serving the community since 1999.
