Kasdan Selected as One of 50 Top FL Influencers by Miami, el Nuevo and Bradenton Herald
For the second consecutive year, healthcare advocate and We Care Manatee Executive Director, Victoria Kasdan was selected as one of 50 leading contributors to the Florida Influencer Series. Spearheaded by the Miami Herald, el Nuevo Herald, and the Bradenton Herald, the series looks to further the discussion and gain insight from opinion leaders on important issues facing the state of Florida. Victoria joins a diverse group of 49 other leaders from across the state representing a wide variety of fields ranging from the aerospace industry to educational leaders, hospital administrators, community activist, and more.
In addition to Kasdan, other distinguished 2019 FL Influencers include key players such as Frank DiBello, president and CEO of Space Florida; Catherine Stemien, president of Duke Energy Florida; Eric Eikenberg, CEO of The Everglades Foundation; and Karen Arnold, the chief operating officer of Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
“Our inaugural project created thoughtful, nonpartisan conversations about solutions to Florida’s most pressing problems,” said Miami Herald Executive Editor Aminda Marquez Gonzalez. “This second class of Influencers will carry forward that work and keep our leaders talking about the policy proposals that will drive change in our communities and our state.”
